3C’s OHIO CLUB GOLF SCRAMBLE RULES
Effective June 6, 2021
GOLFERS MUST HAVE PAID CURRENT CLUB MEMBERSHIP.
The format is a four-person scramble. Men play from middle tees except 70 and older may use forward tees. Ladies may play from the forward tees. Everyone tees off and the team selects the best shot location for the next shot and following shots or putts until the hole is completed. The ball must be holed to complete scoring.
Scoring
Each player must have AT LEAST ONE tee shot used per game.
NO player can have more than three (3) tee shots.
Card must be marked indicating whose tee shot was chosen.
Playing with a “ghost” when only 3 players show up for the tee time.
The three (3) players will take turns being the “ghost” on each hole. Player #1 on Hole #1 will hit his/her own shots as well as the “ghost” shots until the ball is holed.
Player #2 will do the same on Hole #2 and Player #3 on Hole 3. Then back to Player #1 on Hole #4, etc.
The “Ghost” can have a maximum of 3 tee shots.
Prize money
The cost to participate is $2.00 per person. All money is paid out each month to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place depending upon number of cards received. Ties will be broken by counting the scores backwards.
Return all money and scorecard with the SCHEDULED MONTH written on it.
Please be sure there is $8.00 in the envelope.
Cards must be turned in by the Sunday before the next meeting date, or as indicated on the Pairings Sheet.

Prizes will be awarded at monthly meetings. Monies not claimed in 12 months will be returned to the general club fund
Subs:
If you need to find a sub, FIRST contact one of the subs listed on the website. If that doesn’t work, call ANY other twosome to form a 4 person team. Subs and teams can play only twice in one month.
Take the game seriously, but not yourselves. Have fun and get to know your fellow Ohioans.
